The Hallmark Channel's Hidden Secrets for Success
Dec 11, 2023This is the first year that I've had the Hallmark Channel for Christmas.
I AM HOOKED!!!
We all know the formula for Hallmark movies: two characters meet, they do a project together, fall in love, and live happily ever after. THE END
Clearly, I'm a sucker for alllll the love and connection.
Since Christmas movies are on 24/7 right now, I've also discovered that Hallmark has been hiding some pretty fantastic life coaching and success secrets in plain sight.
While we're so busy focusing on romance (the main plot), it's the subtle details that are so powerful.
In every single movie that I've watched for the last 6 weeks, there's an amazing one liner, a life lesson via mindset shifts, and manifesting advice that is absolute FIRE!!!!
You may not think you have anything in common with a Hallmark character, but you share the same characteristics, problems and desires.
Just like those characters, there are certain things you can do to manifest your desires, create more abundance, find love, and so much more.
Here are some of Hallmark's best kept (yet subtle) secrets.
1. Every main character has a problem, but it's not the SAME problem. This is important.
In the Hallmark formula, the two main characters help each other see things from a different perspective while solving problems.
People who have the same problems often lack the perspective or experience to help you shift them. Sometimes, they can even make the problem worse!
For example, if you feel broke and everyone around you is also feeling broke, then you're probably hearing conversations about how expensive everything is, how broke they are, and doubling down on that broke feeling.
However, if you had a friend that was financially stable, the conversations and advice would probably be much different and a little more uplifting.
Different perspectives help shift problems FASTER!
2. The main characters have problems, but they don't excessively focus on them.
I recently watched a Christmas movie where the shop owner was in financial trouble and owed thousands of dollars in back rent.
How many of us have been in a similar situation where we're worried about bills, the future, and how we're going to get out of it?
The character acknowledged the problems, had a little fear moment, and then started thinking about solutions.
She didn't let fear and overwhelm take over. This is FABULOUS advice my friends!
Staying open to possibilities and keeping your thinking open to solutions vs problem focused will help you shift your circumstances.
3. The characters say YES to opportunities that make them uncomfortable.
When we stay solution focused rather than problem focused, we allow the universe to present multiple options that fear would normally block from you.
The Hallmark characters take risks, get creative, and are willing to get uncomfortable to solve their problems.
They don't let the fear of failure keep them from saying yes to the very thing that can help them make their lives better.
Did you ever imagine that you were just like a Hallmark Character?
